shiftfloor is operations software for retail teams. We collect as little as possible, and we're plain about what that is.
What we store.
Team boards contain the information a working day needs: first names, shift times, assignments and short notes written by the team. We also record minimal, anonymous usage signals to understand adoption. We do not collect contact details, addresses, pay data or precise locations, and we do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.
Where it lives.
Data lives on secure, managed infrastructure and travels encrypted over TLS. Access to each team's data requires that team's private key — there are no shared logins and no public pages.
What we never do.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties. We do not profile individuals. Data exists to run your team's day, and for nothing else.
Your choices.
A team can rotate its access at any time, and can request correction or deletion of its data by writing to hello@shiftfloor.com. We answer quickly.
